After reading the first chapter, I was expecting a story about Colt Vahn’s quest to kill Visionaries who have locked an island into one repetition day so they can piss about.

It’s hard for me to understand why Colt Vahn is so good at killing people. It’s also hard for him to be able to even kill people in this mode. Maybe that’s because he’s too drunk, too stupid, too ambitious, too ignorant to realize that they’re all dead. He’s got a little too much information to deal with at the moment.
Now, I could be completely off base here. Im sure that Colt Vahn is a brilliant person. I am sure that he and his family have done something amazing and valuable. I just think that he has had some kind of breakdown. It is hard to understand why he is so terrible.
