Sourdough bread is basically made with the starter, or liquid, made from a mixture of flour, water, salt, and yeast. The only really important thing about sourdough is the fact that you have to keep it fresh. Once it is gone, it is gone.

If you are like me and you’re just starting out with your own kitchen or bathroom, the best thing to do is buy a starter and make your own sourdough bread. If you are new to sourdough bread, I recommend buying a starter from any good kitchen supply store.
