To be truly healthy, we need to know where our food comes from, how our food is processed, what the health risks are associated with specific processing methods, and so on. We also need to know the health risks associated with our diet and lifestyle choices, what foods and lifestyles are good for us, and how to fix that.
Eating right is such a simple thing to do that it doesn’t need to be complicated. It’s as easy as adding a few ingredients to your food, choosing foods that contain the nutrients you need, and eating a variety of nutritious meals. All we need to do is be aware of what we’re putting in our bodies, and we might just be on our way to a healthier life.
In fact, the more we know about what are making us sick, the more we can make changes to help us. The first step is to be aware and then to take action.

I know this is a big statement, but I think it is something that needs to be said, even if it’s a bit heavy-handed for one particular article. I know, if you’re going to be healthy, you would think you might have to eat a lot more, but I promise you, if you’re going to be healthy, you can’t waste your time thinking about food. When I was sick, I felt like I was on a roller coaster ride where I had to keep my head up and my eyes closed, just so I could get through each jump. When I was healthy, I felt like I was on a cruise ship, where I had to keep my head down and my eyes on the ground, because I needed to catch my breath and be able to make it out of each curve.
You might think that having a little more time to eat a little less food would be a good idea, but it doesn’t. A healthy diet is about eating food that helps you feel better, and when you don’t eat that food, you feel terrible. But when you do eat a little bit of that food, you feel good. It’s like you’re running on an empty stomach and you’re getting the nutrients you need.
This makes the idea of eating smaller and eating less healthier all the more ridiculous too. The reason the body gets rid of food is to conserve what it has available. You need enough energy to run a little longer, and you eat to fuel that. So for a healthy diet, you have to eat more than you need.
