This center was the first facility in the nation to offer a full-fledged rehabilitation program for people who have sustained serious injuries or disabilities. The center, which is the first of its kind in the United States, is designed to not only serve the patients and their families, but also to educate the medical community on the latest rehabilitation technology.
In this new trailer they show the video of a patient who is being fitted for a permanent leg prosthesis. This technology is in use in places like the Texas prison system, where they train prisoners to use the leg to walk again.
The new trailer also shows the rehabilitation center’s new rehab machine. It’s an automated program where the patients learn to use a prosthetic leg, then the video shows them how to use the leg. This is a much more in-your-face, and much more accurate, recreation of a physical therapy session than the previous trailer, which showed the patients wearing leg braces.
If what we see in the trailer is accurate, then it’s great news for a lot of people who’ve lost one or both of their legs because of cancer or other diseases. Also, it’s great news for survivors of rape or other forms of violence. Many people need extra help these days.
The trailer does show us some of the medical equipment that the clinic uses (such as the knee brace), and it includes the patients in various stages of recovery. But what it does most tell us is that the center is a rehabilitation center, and that’s why they’re there.
Well, let’s face it, this is a place for people who need to heal from a broken heart, or from a brutal assault or whatever. And it’s a safe place for any survivors of a crime, or a horrible accident. Of course, it’s also a place for people who have lost one or both of their hands because of a disease.
People who need to heal from life-threatening injuries that they may have sustained from another accident or assault or homicide are included in the clinic. That means we get to see the patients in different stages of healing. We see some who are almost back to their natural life, and some who are in the worst shape imaginable.
The place where people who have lost fingers are treated is called memorial city. I was going to ask if that was to honor those fingers, but I’m actually wondering if the idea of treating someone for the loss of a hand would somehow make the person more likely to be attacked again. I suppose that’s a theory.
I really don’t know. I don’t have a good handle on the treatment of the injuries people in the clinic go through, but if I was to guess, I would say that it seems to depend on who you’re talking to. I know I won’t be able to tell you any more, but it would be cool to know about.
